Of course you’re going to get wedding photos but what will I cover on the day? Coverage for your wedding includes bridal morning prep, your ceremony, group shots and portraiture (if required), your wedding breakfast/speeches and evening reception until 9pm.
You may well have some special requirements and I’d be only to happy to discuss those with you ahead of your big day. I’ll endeavour to meet any and all your photography needs and ensure all the key elements of your day are covered.
My Purpose as a documentary style photographer is to bring your event back to life and make you smile every time you look at your images. The number of pictures I deliver varies depending on the size of the the wedding party and the duration of the celebrations. You can expect to receive the completed catalogue via online gallery two to three weeks after you’ve tied the not.
These days it’s common for clients to want an online gallery of their wedding photos so I include this as part of my single price. Each client gallery has its own unique password and download key to ensure your pictures are kept safe. There’s a six month expiry date on the gallery from the date of upload. From your private gallery page you’ll be free to share them, order prints or download images as you wish.
I’ll upload you wedding photos in print-ready form to an online gallery. My gallery service has print ordering built in. Simply pick the image you want a print of, select the size and the number of copies, hit the Paypal button and off it’ll go to a dedicated print lab. There are myriad options for you to choose from basic prints to huge canvases
Making a full fledged video of your big day might seem like an attractive prospect but the cost can be prohibitive. Furthermore, video production almost always requires more than one person on location.
You could up with several camera people hovering over you which feels like you’ve got the paparazzi at your wedding. Having so many extra bodies on location can be very intrusive for you and your guests as well as impede your photographer’s ability to shoot events naturally.
So, is there an alternative? The answer is yes – it’s called a Video Slide-Show or Photofilm. Using a compact mobile audio recorder, I can capture snippets of high definition audio from throughout your day. These could include: the morning prep, the ceremony, the speeches and so on. I then combine this audio with a video slide-show of images taken from your wedding photos being sure to the audio chronologically aligns with the images.
The idea is that you wont know I’m recording so you’ll be your natural self. With the exception of the speeches, my intention is to capture the atmosphere of an entire room rather than specific conversations.
I love to travel – my first ever wedding booking was in Italy. Documentary style event photographers can be difficult to find outside the UK. You’ll want piece of mind if you’re getting married abroad. Knowing what you’re getting by meeting with me before the big day will help put your mind at ease. My travel and lodging costs will be in addition to my usual fee.
You may prefer an alternative to the online-only copy of your album and so I also offer a personalised USB sustainably sourced beech memory key for £30/£40 (depending on the memory size required) plus delivery. Each key comes in its own little wooden matchbox with your names engraved on the front and a little banner from me. Cute!
You’re newly engaged and walking on air. You can hardly contain your excitement and you feel like you’ve fallen in love all over gain. Wouldn’t it me amazing to capture those emotions in image form? These pictures will be useful when you announce your engagement, wedding invitations and a cherished memory.
You can come to me or I’ll come to the location of your choosing and we’ll spend a couple of hours shooting. Here again, I won’t pose or direct you. My aim is to capture your feelings for one another, not to model you in a lifeless pose with a cheesy grin.
